MW212 Puncture Pad

This puncture pad is a basic training device for practicing inserting needles in skin and veins. 

The pad has two layers; a skin layer and a softer flesh layer. 

Embedded under the skin layer are two soft silicone tubes of different diameters..

The tubes can be connected to the syringe as well as each other.

After a number of practises the tubes may start leaking. They can be replaced with new tubes. Just take off the connecting luers and pull out the old tubes. Cover the new tubes with vaseline and slit them in place. Reconnect the luers to the new tubes and you’ll be ready to do more training.

Directions for use:

• Fill the syringe with blood ( preferred squirt blood) and connect to the preferred tube.
• Fill the tube and close the other end. 
•  IV insertion or taking blood can now be practiced
• The pad can also be used for injection and vaccination simulation. Due to the nature of the product, small needle holes will seal on their own.

• 2 blood line replacements

Can be re-used many times.

This model will not have enough pressure to achieve backflow when inserting the needle.

Care instructions:

• The silicone can be washed with warm soapy water and disinfected with Iso Alcohol.
• Dry thoroughly with a soft towel or hairdryer.
• You can use talc powder to mattify shiny areas or remove stickiness.
• Store this product clean and dry in a dark and cool environment.

All products that are faulty or damaged need to be notified, with a photo of the damage, within a week after receiving the products. If the damage or fault is due to fabrication, the faulty product can be returned and repaired, replaced, or refunded.

MEDICFX offers a 6-month warranty on the silicone parts of your model. With normal, gentle use no rips or tears should occur. There is no warranty on hair-work.
