MSURG830 Baby Oliver - Surgical

Baby Oliver is a new born surgical Sim baby.

Oliver is the only realistic sim baby that can be operated on in a full team surgical scenario. He looks and feels like a real baby. He has a removable belly skin that can be replaced with different ones, showing symptoms of problems. Inside the tummy all organs are visible and can be removed, treated, sutured, bleed and even cut. After the training all cut organs and belly skin can be repaired with the included repair kit. 

Oliver has eyelashes and punched in soft hair that can be carefully brushed. Because of the stretched out position this baby is not suitable as a birthing model. His face looks distressed and crying but fitted with dummy and hat he looks sleeping peacefully.

How to use this baby model:

Oliver can be reasonably intubated and bagged or ventilated showing realistic chest rise. His ribcage allows resuscitation with 2 fingers

Upon ordering this baby it is essential to submit a detailed specification of ailments with photos and descriptions, so we can create the perfect baby for your training. 

Care instructions:

• Treat the baby as you would a real baby. Don't pull on arms or legs or punched in hair.
• Oliver can be washed under the hot tap and cleaned with alcohol if needed.
• Don't immerse the baby in water as it will fill up the lungs.
• Dry the baby with a soft towel and hairdryer before storing away
• If the silicone gets a bit shiny/oily wipe with Iso alcohol and powder off with baby powder

Warranty: 

MEDICFX warrants that the products supplied will be of good quality and reasonably fit for the purpose(s) mentioned in the descriptions. All products that are faulty or damaged need to be notified, with a photo of the damage, within a week after receiving the products. If the damage or fault is due to fabrication, the faulty product can be returned and repaired, replaced, or refunded.

MEDICFX offers a 6-month warranty on the silicone parts of your model. With normal, gentle use no rips or tears should occur. There is no warranty on hair-work.
