Reference:

I also wanted to give some feedback regarding this model. We use this to teach CICO rescue to the registrars for impalpable neck anatomy and it is great! I squirt liquid paraffin in the neck space as the registrars make the initial incision to simulate blood and the slipperiness that follows. Myself and a few other consultants who have done CICO rescue on sheep have found that this is a great model to teach and learn. We have had great feedback from the registrars who have used this model.

Kind regards,

Dr Faith Crichton, Consultant Anaesthetist, Supervisor of Training

My department purchase your difficult airway model “Big Clint” many years ago now and he has served us very well. He is used at least 4 times a year and the skins have also been reglued and reused several times over. I can attest to his durability as he has endured having his larynx pulled out, his trachea repaired and having his fat (from the fat jar) replaced. The only downside is we only have one. I notice he is being discontinued. Just wondering if the upgraded version Conan is available and if so how much? How much different is he from Clint?
